About Nexus ABI
CQC Registered - Consultant Led - Specialist ABI
We are a CQC-registered specialist clinical service operating exclusively in the field of Acquired Brain Injury. Not a general medical clinic. Not a broad-scope provider. A service built from the ground up around the specific, complex and consistently under-served clinical needs of people living with the consequences of brain injury.
Our Story
Why Nexus ABI Exists
Acquired Brain Injury is one of the most complex clinical presentations in medicine — and one of the most consistently under-served. The intersection of neurological, psychiatric, physical, cognitive and legal complexity that defines an ABI patient’s world demands something that general clinical provision rarely delivers: genuine specialism, consistent clinical ownership, and processes built around how case management and Court of Protection actually work.
ABI-exclusive specialism
Every clinician, every process and every report at Nexus ABI has been designed around the specific demands of Acquired Brain Injury. We do not see general medical patients. Your client is seen by someone who understands their injury, their medications, their cognitive presentation, and the legal framework that surrounds them.
Designed for case management
Rapid turnaround times, court-ready reporting, direct clinical contact, and proactive communication are not aspirational standards — they are operational commitments. We have built our processes around how case managers and financial deputies actually work, not around how a clinic would prefer to operate.
CQC-registered governance
Our CQC registration is the framework within which all clinical care is delivered. We are subject to regular inspection and our compliance status is publicly accessible. The governance standards we operate to protect our patients, our clinical team, and the professionals who instruct us.
Transparent and accountable
We publish our fee schedule. We provide pre-service quotes in writing. We issue itemised invoices. We share our CQC documentation on request. We communicate proactively when something changes clinically. Transparency is not a value we aspire to — it is how we work.
